The funding for the public libraries of Ohio should not be cut. They provide resources and systems that allow people of all backgrounds, income levels, and skill levels to learn. The library isn’t just books, it’s safe places for kids, for families. It’s a social environment for lonely seniors. It’s a chance for people who are looking for jobs to build skills and get back into the work place. Removing funding from the libraries will hurt the work that they’ve been doing for our communities.
