Here we are again. Not only is the security breach event not going away, but it’s getting worse by the day. As more information comes to light about just how illegal and dangerous this is, people at the highest level of government try harder and harder to gaslight the American public. As destructive as this is, and we all know how dangerous it is, the government officials involved in this fiasco continue to lie. The public knows these people lie; this is not surprising. Surprisingly, they continue to believe that they can tell Americans that what they are seeing and reading isn’t the truth. Shockingly, they think every American is stupid and will believe the bald-faced lies they are telling. Guess what – they aren’t fooling anybody. On top of the issue of whether the SIGNAL messages were top secret or not, there are several illegal issues at play here. They all know they were warned not to use SIGNAL in a message in February. Additionally: • The law requires preserving public records, which are these messages. The settings on SIGNAL were to delete all messages after a certain amount of time. • Evidence of attempts to hide actions has been uncovered. Why all the secrecy if what you are doing is legal? • Lying, lying, lying for the sake of saving oneself over the safety and protection of the country • The use of unsecured equipment for government business • Evidence of the use of SIGNAL for other conversations The actions of Elon Musk are probably the most egregious behavior aside from the current issue, but they are closely related. He advised hostile nations to “savor this moment. It’s never been easier to steal secrets from the United States government. Can you even call it stealing when it’s this simple? The Trump administration has unlocked the vault doors, fired half of the security guards, and asked the rest to roll pennies. Walk right in. Take what you want. This is the golden age.” How is this not treason? Why is he not held responsible for this treacherous invitation to our adversaries? The president's response is no response at all. His first approach is to deny he knows anything or was involved, then to start calling this a witch hunt, and finally, an attempt to deflect attention by signing yet another executive order that dramatically suppresses voting rights. This was followed by the announcement of additional 25% tariffs on cars, which promptly tanked the stock market. He is inept and incapable of governing, which is obvious. Hegseth, Gabbard, Ratcliff, and Waltz must resign immediately, and Trump must be impeached. Congress will need to correct the President's Cabinet. Will the Republicans finally step up? These people are not remotely qualified for their jobs, nor are you if you don’t call for their resignations.
