Alabamians just experienced a potentially catastrophic weather event across the state this weekend where we were in the highest risk threat zone. While I was monitoring the storm in my basement on ABC3340 as it passed through Birmingham Saturday, virtually all of James Spann’s updates were coming from the National Weather Service in NOAA. Thanks to Spann and his sources with NWS, we had a week notice to prepare. Why in the hell are you laying off people from this department??? Why is any department that is responsible for national security - either from weather threats or war threats - being reduced?? How is saving a little money in staffing more valuable to our country than having a robust, stable security infrastructure?? Get the NAZIs at DOGE (especially the head NAZI Musk) expelled from the government IMMEDIATELY! They’re worthless! They cost more than the money they claim to be saving us! What a SCAM! Liars claiming to expose fraud - yeah right - nobody believes it!
