I believe you are smart enough to understand that tariffs are taxes and that the people of our state will suffer under Trump’s “tariffs.” Since you know this, I don’t understand why you’re supporting this action. You can and should speak up and out for the people of Alabama. It’s not too late to protect the people in our state (and country). The truth is, and I’m sure you know this, too, but the tariffs will not only damage our economy, but they will negatively impact you as well.
