Condemn Unjustified Deportations, Demand Immigration Reform and Due Process

To: Sen. Hoeven, Gov. Armstrong, Pres. Trump, Rep. Stemen, Sen. Roers, Rep. Fedorchak, Sen. Cramer

From: A constituent in Horace, ND

March 17

The deportation of a respected Brown University professor to Lebanon without any provided explanation is an unacceptable violation of due process and civil liberties. As a nation built by immigrants, we must condemn such unjustified actions that separate families and disrupt lives. This disturbing incident highlights the urgent need for comprehensive immigration reform to prevent unlawful deportations and ensure transparent, fair proceedings for all individuals legally residing in the United States. Upholding the rule of law and protecting human rights must be prioritized over arbitrarily removing individuals from the only home they have known. Immediate action is necessary to address this injustice and prevent future abuses of power.
