Privatizing core public services like Amtrak and the United States Postal Service would be a grave mistake that prioritizes profits over people. The proposal reeks of cronyism, with privatization of the USPS being a transparent handout to billionaire Jeff Bezos and his Amazon empire. These critical national institutions belong to the American people, not wealthy corporate interests. We cannot allow a small cabal of billionaires to seize control of fundamental civic infrastructure for their own enrichment at the public's expense. Our representatives must reject these privatization efforts and instead invest in modernizing and strengthening these essential services for the benefit of all citizens. The call to "privatize everything" is antithetical to democratic principles and the public good. We demand our leaders uphold their duty to the people over the grasping hands of the ultra-wealthy few.
