PKD affects millions, and funding is crucial for advancements in treatment and care. Additionally, I strongly advocate for the passage of the Living Donor Protection Act to prevent discrimination in insurance coverage and ensure guaranteed paid time off for recovery following surgery for living donors across the U.S. Finally, the Living Organ Donor Tax Credit Act should be passed to eliminate financial barriers to living organ donation, encouraging more individuals to become donors and saving lives.
