NO mask ban

To: Gov. Hochul

From: A verified voter in New York, NY

March 31

I need to wear a Mask. I’m a Mom. I work and rely on the subway for my 60 minute commute, each way. My parents are both immunocompromised. The only way we can have them see their grandchild is thanks to common sense face masks. A Mask ban means I cannot work. A mask bans prevents grandparents from being able to see their 6 year old grandson grow in person. We, the immunocompromised, have already been left behind in so many ways and are clinging to this one tool- a mask- to be able to exist in our world. Please don’t take that away. Don’t further punish us for something out of our control. Please. I’m begging you. No mask ban.
