The deportation of Venezuelan migrants to the maximum-security prison in El Salvador represents a grave violation of constitutional rights and basic human decency. Indefinitely detaining individuals without due process or criminal charges is a blatant denial of their fundamental right to protection against unlawful seizures. Subjecting them to the inhumane conditions of a supermax facility designed for violent gang members, despite lacking evidence of any criminal involvement, is unconscionable and inhumane treatment. This unjust action undermines the principles of human rights and justice that should be upheld. Urgent intervention is required to rectify this egregious constitutional violation and ensure the humane treatment of these individuals. Their immediate release from unjustified confinement must be secured to uphold the rule of law and prevent further infringement of their basic rights and dignity.
