STAND UP FOR DEMOCRACY AND PROTECT THE CONSTITUTION
To: Sen. Schmitt, Sen. Hawley
From: A verified voter in Kansas City, MO
April 1
I am writing to you as a concerned constituent who is deeply troubled by the direction in which our country is heading. The actions of the current administration appear to be systematically dismantling our government and undermining the democratic principles upon which this nation was built. I fear we are witnessing an alarming shift toward authoritarianism, and I am left wondering: Why are you allowing this to happen?
As a representative of the people, you swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. That sacred document is being trampled upon, and yet I see little pushback from those who have the power to stop it. Do you not care about the rule of law, the separation of powers, and the freedoms that define America?
History has shown us that when good people remain silent in the face of tyranny, democracy crumbles. I urge you to speak up and take action before it is too late. Your constituents deserve leaders who will stand firm in defense of our republic, not those who remain complicit through inaction.
I respectfully ask for your response. Where do you stand? Will you fight for the Constitution, or will you allow this administration to continue down this dangerous path unchecked? The American people are watching, and history will remember.
