The Trump administration has just made drastic cuts to the Local Food for Schools Program (LFS)and the Local Food Purchase (LFPA )Program for FY 2025. This will negatively affect the nutrition of the school age children in this country and cause financial harm to local producers. It will also diminish the amount of foods available in food banks, which will negatively harm adults and families. As one of your constituents. I ask you to speak out against these cuts. Private sector funding is not available to make up for this gap.
