Say no to SB246

To: Sen. English

From: A verified voter in Maumelle, AR

March 10

Please say no to AR Access Act SB246. This is not beneficial to the educational system in Arkansas and does not benefit and students. The purpose of this bill is to give the governor exclusive control over the education system and everyone in it. This is not only an attack on free speech but a fundamental attack on Arkansans to have any say whatsoever in the educational system and an attack that is clearly motivated by corporate lobbyists who benefit from destroying public education and who can now sit directly in the chairs of the local Arkansans who are being purged from their positions. This bill is of no benefit to the educational system in Arkansas . It is to give the Governor complete control of the education system and arrest students who speak out. As a parent and grandparent the educational system should be managed by trained and certified teachers and professionals that have the students best interest at heart. Passing political suppression and hate bills that harm our state and educational system is anti- democratic and unconscionable.
