I am urging you to speak out against the proposed rule that could allow Medicaid and ACA insurers to deny gender-affirming care by labeling it as “sex-trait modification.” This rule will harm trans and nonbinary people, particularly those who are low-income, disabled, or already struggling to access care. It also sets a dangerous precedent for insurers to deny other essential medical treatments. I ask that you: Publicly oppose this rule and issue a statement against it. Push for federal protections ensuring trans healthcare remains covered under Medicaid and ACA plans. This is a matter of life and death for this community. Please take a stand.
