I’m a former teacher and a mom. I’m writing because I am revolted by the fact that you continually refuse to vote in the best interests of Oklahomans while worshipping a man who seems to be doing his level best to destroy the economy, international diplomacy, civil rights (unless you’re white) and civil liberties (unless you agree with Trump). Specifically today, I would like to know when or if you plan on pushing back against the ill-considered and disorganized actions of Elon Musk and his DOGE minions. He was not elected, nor was he nominated and confirmed. The firings are not based on the performance of those employees. Security around personal data seems non-existent. And surprise, surprise, DOGE just hasn’t turned up any waste at all in money that goes to the military or communications or oil and gas. Everyone wants to get rid of waste, but doing something quickly and doing something efficiently are not always the same thing. The DOGE cuts are already hurting Oklahoma and it’s only going to get worse if you don’t speak up for us.
