Support the Resolution to Block Arms Sales to Israel

The United States must immediately halt arms sales to Israel in light of the disturbing reports of human rights violations committed by Israeli forces against Palestinian civilians in Gaza. The indiscriminate bombardment of densely populated areas, obstruction of humanitarian aid, and summary execution of clearly identified medical personnel are egregious breaches of international law and the principles of the Geneva Conventions. By continuing to provide billions of dollars in offensive weaponry to the Israeli government, the United States is complicit in enabling these atrocities and the systematic oppression of the Palestinian people. Such actions undermine America's credibility as a champion of human rights and democratic values on the global stage. I urge you to support Senator Sanders' Joint Resolutions of Disapproval which will suspend the proposed $8.56 billion arms deal with Israel. It is imperative that the United States leverage its substantial military aid to Israel as a means to demand accountability and an immediate cessation of violations against Palestinian civilians. Perpetuating the status quo of unconditional military assistance only emboldens further abuses and erodes America's moral standing. Support this resolution to uphold international law and human rights.
