I am deeply concerned about President Trump’s disregard for the recent judicial rulings on our deported migrants. Regardless of how I feel in particular about the administration’s policies, the United States has prided itself on a system of checks and balances wherein one person or one branch of the government is not above any of the others. His clear disregard for the system is an affront to the very foundation of our government. I am concerned that Congress needs to act with even greater oversight and work diligently to stop the executive branch overreaching. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
