I would like to ask a question and to ask you to fight for every Nebraskan. What good does SJ Res 18 do for the common Nebraskans who voted for you? Who EXACTLY does it benefit? Removing the limitations to bank fees benefits no one except big banks. Someone who has an overdraft doesn’t need another fee. They need help. I am not against reasonable fees. I’m against excessive fees. It your job to ensure we don’t pay excessive fees if mistakes are made. Fees don’t need to be removed altogether, but they also don’t need to be highway robbery. Please vote to keep the limitations on bank fees so that Nebraska voters are not penalized for mistakes. Keeping the limit on fees allows banks to do their business, reminds consumers to be responsible and doesn’t cause unnecessary hardship. Thank you for considering this viewpoint and voting to show Nebraskans who you value.
