Please vote no on HB2083 as there is a process to vet the best representation with the proper qualifications onto the commission. Having a designated seat sends a message that things can be bought for private interests. In a time where people want the best candidates based on merit and not something appointed, the long term consequences of this one move can bring the worst candidate into the commission in order to fill a seat.
