The American people are not stupid, and to sit by and gaslight your constituents is unforgivable. Your duty is to the people and the constitution. Making up conspiracies or blaming random individuals for Elon's/Trump’s actions is NOT part of your job. You are not protecting anyone and if you do not step up, people will die because of YOU! You will be written down as one of the bad people you hear about in history. Trump will drop you the moment he or Elon find you to be useless. Decide whether or not to be useful to the people who did or did not vote you in. Either way, you've already proven to be weak, change our opinions NOW!
