I don't know what to say today. The government is not closed which is a good thing. But Trump's illegal tariff war is now somehow legal and Congress has given away its Constitutional "Power of the Purse." I have never seen politicians at this level willingly give away power, but giving that power to an unelected South African citizen? So the real question is how did Democrats get to that place and the answer seems to be the threat that large amounts of money can bring to politics. To then see those same politicians, too afraid to lose their personal power, turn around and vote away greater power, blows my mind.
