Since when did Congress abdicate its power over the purse? How is it that the Executive Branch can unilaterally decide what gets our money? I urge you to rein in the President’s vendetta against universities, USAID and anything else that he doesn’t like. Congress gets to decide where this money goes. I urge you to take back this power otherwise you’re nothing but a bunch of people sitting around in a room talking; not fulfilling your official responsibilities.
