I am writing to strongly oppose the elimination of IMLS. This institution is fundamental to preserving history in our communities, having training programs for the community, and providing spaces in libraries for the underserved to access a place to study, to rest, to learn. We cannot let this institution be removed as so many others have already been removed. Enough is enough!
