You told the American people you won by a “landslide.” You claimed you had a mandate to end endless wars. Ukraine would be over in a day. No more foreign entanglements. “Peace through strength.”
And yet — here we are in 2025, 66 days into your second term, on the verge of not one but two escalating conflicts.
• In Ukraine, you tried to gaslight the world, calling Ukraine the aggressor while Putin ignored your call, laughed at you on a public stage and kept marching forward.
• In the Middle East, you’ve surrounded Iran with bombers, aircraft carriers, and threats. You’re launching strikes, issuing ultimatums, and dangerously cornering a regime known for lashing out.
Your wishy-washy, whomever-is-my-friend-today diplomacy is less strategy, more sophomoric performance art, and it’s turning the United States into a dangerous global punchline.
This is what you get when a volatile ex-TV star surrounds himself with cronies playing dress-up as diplomats — and calls it governance.
Worse still, your reckless approach has cost America its allies. Nations that once stood shoulder-to-shoulder with us are distancing themselves — not because we’re strong, but because we’ve become unstable.
We urge Congress to:
• Reclaim its war powers
• Demand transparency and real diplomacy
• And remind this administration that saber-rattling isn’t leadership
Mr. President, if you truly believe you were elected “by a landslide “ to bring peace, start acting like a leader — not a man chasing ratings from the Situation Room.
