Town halls
To: Gov. Moore
From: A constituent in Arnold, MD
March 6
I call on Governor Moore to immediately schedule emergency in-person town halls to address the ongoing constitutional crisis. The constitutional crisis has plunged our communities into uncertainty and fear. We are plagued with misinformation. We have been left anxious and confused about the safety of our jobs, our health care, our public infrastructure, and our civil rights. During the Covid-19 crisis, elected officials held daily briefings and town halls to address concerns and provide Americans with reliable information and updates. The current constitutional crisis affecting us is equally dire and requires an equivalent response. The perpetrators of this crisis thrive on division and isolation By bringing us together, you can help counteract their efforts and strengthen the bonds that unite us. Telephone town halls or virtual meetings in which we cannot see or support one another are not sufficient Now, more than ever, we need your leadership for solidarity, clarity, and collective strength. Please schedule in-person town halls immediately.
