I am writing as a deeply concerned constituent who is fed up with the reckless and harmful tariffs that continue to burden American consumers and businesses. These policies are not only economically unsound, but they are politically motivated and serve no one but those looking to score points at the expense of everyday Americans. I want to know: What are you doing right now to stop these tariffs and prevent further economic harm? It’s not enough to speak out—your constituents demand action, legislation, and bold opposition. Furthermore, I want to know what steps you and your colleagues are taking to hold Donald Trump accountable. His disregard for democratic norms, repeated abuses of power, and dangerous rhetoric should not be ignored or tolerated. If there is any path toward impeachment or legal accountability, we expect you to pursue it without hesitation. This is not a moment for weak statements or waiting for someone else to act. We need bold leadership, now. I look forward to a detailed response outlining your plan of action on both issues.
