I previously sent you correspondence. This issue needed to be separate.
Mistakes were clearly made on that Yemen message thread.
I think about mistakes as a learning tool. One of the things mistakes do is sus character.
What did young staffers, young adults, and children learn from your party about handling a mistake?
Based on the GOPs response:
Blame someone else
Lie on newscast
Interject another party's mistake
Accuse innocent people of authoring mistake
It was a great time to mirror responsible behavior to our country, and more importantly, our youth.
When folks are forthcoming about errors and take responsibility, it honestly makes it easier to understand and to forgive.
My concern is the inability of the party that "subscribes" to family values to do the right thing.
Lying and scapegoating isn't what needs mirroring.
Please consider these things going forward.
I do want to offer my appreciation to Mr Goldberg. He didn't hold that information to monetarily benefit or blackmail. He realized its importance and didn't disclose it. He served his country and not himself in the moment. That's what I would love our youth to imulate. What a decent America that would be, huh?
