Act Now: A Request for Town Hall
To: Rep. Miller-Meeks
From: A constituent in Iowa City, IA
March 24
Mariannette Miller-Meeks has a responsibility to her constituents. We the people hold the power and she wouldn’t be in an active position of leadership if it weren’t for her obligation to us. To be clear, she should remember her string of failures before her final and debated win. There is no pride in failure or contested success. She’s barely relevant.
Further, it is imperative that she be an active participant in this dialogue when we call upon her to do so. To be a representative body, she must be able to relate to those you are advocating for. How is she to do that when she hides away from them?
The result is absolute complacency in the chambers of the Capitol. There is no resistance for the demolition of our democracy happening right before her and that in and of itself is a crime. Much like the those who did not contest during the reign of Adolf Hitler.
She will carry this mistake to the grave, to be judged by her chosen one as the last little neurons in her brain attempt to make sense of all the horrible things she’s allowed to happen without one question or one act of heroism for the sake of those watching their lives being ripped apart by the Trump administration.
For shame!
