Oppose EPA Deregulation

To: Sen. Scott, Sen. Moody, Rep. Salazar

From: A constituent in Miami, FL

March 15

STOP EPA ROLLBACKS This is not a simple letter to my lawmaker. It is an urgent plea for public health and a livable planet for us all. I need you to stop the rollback of critical environmental regulations proposed by new EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin. EPA regulations were established based on sound science and decades of thoughtful research and study. Weakening these protections not only jeopardizes our natural resources but also risks increasing health issues such as asthma, cancer, and other pollution-related illnesses. These protections should not be sacrificed using the excuse of enhancing our nation’s prosperity, jobs, etc. The proposed rollbacks would lead to higher long-term costs for American families as we face the consequences of unchecked environmental degradation. Obviously, they will have devastating consequences for both our environment and the well-being of future generations. As you know Florida is an especially vulnerable state with fragile aquifers, waterways, springs, and shores. Please! Prioritize the health and safety of Americans by opposing these de-regulatory actions and supporting policies that promote sustainable growth and environmental stewardship.
