Stop this insane over-reach! It is not for the president to decide the ideology which governs exhibits and research at The Smithsonian. It’s bad enough he’s taken over the operation of The Kennedy Center (also inappropriate over-reaching). This needs to stop now! He does not get to unilaterally decide every damn thing that happens in every facet of our society! This is not a dictatorship! America is a democracy! The president also does not get to decide who is, and who isn’t allowed to unionize - not his job. Also an integral part of our democratic society. I do not live in a dictatorship for this reason. We are free here. The president needs to stop deporting immigrants without proof of truly dangerous undertakings and activities. Just coming from a particular country or region does not make one a terrorist and a threat. This country was built by immigrants - has he forgotten that? He’s married women from other countries - were they terrorists? How would he have reacted if previous presidents deported his family members solely based on their mother’s country of origin? This is just ludicrous and undemocratic. It needs to stop now. The rule of law needs to be enforced to stop this megalomaniac from carrying out his quid pro quo agreements. I do not care what he promised his billionaire cronies in exchange for their financial support - the environment and our economy need to be saved! Those tariffs are not the answer to our financial straits - getting the big corporations and his billionaire boys’ club to pay their fair share most definitely IS the answer!! Save our democracy - stop this insanity!
