This administration is incompetent and endangering our troops. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared war plans in an encrypted chat—including a journalist—two hours before strikes on the Houthis in Yemen, the White House confirmed. The journalist, The Atlantic’s editor Jeffrey Goldberg, was accidentally added by National Security Adviser Michael Waltz. The leak, outside secure channels, was a serious breach of national security. Please replace Pete Hegseth. It is totally inappropriate for details on military ops to be shared on civilian channels when other solutions are available within the DOD. This breach must not be overlooked.
