I just listened to Jon Ossoff’s wonderful speech and I want to continue to urge you to speak firmly and clearly about what is happening. This country is looking to democratic leadership to guide us and keep us from despair. We are descending into a fascist dictatorship and that is not an exaggeration. If you call it what it is you will gather more support. You will not reach the die hard MAGA but they are not currently reachable. If you tell the truth more emphatically - that this is a power grab, this is corruption, this is an attempt to dismantle democracy - you will build trust and gain support from those who are horrified by what they see. I believe that Americans who are horrified are now a critical majority. But we need firm leadership from *you* to galvanize us and guide us. When you are neutral, when you act like this is normal, it breaks trust. Speak fiercely and strongly. Rally us. Lead us.
