Vote No on the SAVE Act-reject voter suppression

To: Rep. Hamadeh, Sen. Gallego, Sen. Kelly

From: A constituent in Peoria, AZ

April 2

The SAVE Act (H.R. 22) poses a serious threat to our fundamental right to vote by imposing strict voter ID requirements and making it more difficult for many eligible citizens to participate in elections. This bill would disproportionately disenfranchise communities of color, low-income individuals, seniors, and those with disabilities who may face obstacles in obtaining the required identification documents. As representatives, it is your duty to protect the integrity of our democracy by ensuring equal access to the ballot box for all eligible voters. I urge you to reject this legislation and instead work towards expanding voting rights and making the electoral process more inclusive and accessible. Protecting the sanctity of every American's voice at the polls should be a paramount priority.
