I am dreaming of barbed wire. Every night I dread going to sleep for fear of another nightmare. Facing another day of horrifying headlines and worry about the future, I feel compelled to write. It is not enough to react to what is happening. It is time for the Democratic Party to lead. We need positive leaders we can get behind, a luminary we can believe in. We need a vision for the future that is optimistic. We need hope for a future that is not a dystopian nightmare. A future where our children and grandchildren have a chance to build a life full of joy, pride and love. We need to stop the direction of our current administration and start building a country we can be proud of again. As citizens, we can protest, vote (at least for now) and make noise. We need your help to get our country back before it’s too late. Please help us.
