Oppose changes to EPA regulations

To: Gov. Evers, Sen. Bradley, Rep. Allen

From: A constituent in Waukesha, WI

March 17

I am a mother of two school-age children, a teacher, and a proud member of my community in Waukesha, Wisconsin. I oppose recent and ongoing efforts by the EPA to change, reverse, or eliminate regulations that protect us. The EPA's stated goal, from its own website, is the "protection of human health and the environment." Recent and pending decisions appear to go against this mission, instead claiming to "protect" businesses and save consumers money. I want healthy air for my family and all people in Wisconsin to breathe. I want clean water that not only impacts what we drink but the quality of food that we eat. I want a beautiful state that will last long after I am gone. I want my tax dollars to support health for all the people of Wisconsin. I do not want my tax dollars to go towards letting businesses release more toxins into our environment where we live, work, eat, and breathe every day. Stand up and speak out against this derailment of the EPA. Push for ethical decisions that protect the health and longevity of our people and beautiful natural resources here in Wisconsin. Thank you for all you do to protect and be the voice for us who voted for you and rely on you to be OUR voice in government.
