You knew this would happen. Kamala Harris warned us. Many of us warned you. And yet, here we are—watching Trump dismantle the country in real time while Congress acts surprised and does almost nothing to stop it. Harris called it: Project 2025, economic devastation from reckless tariffs, attacks on democracy, and outright authoritarianism. She spelled it out clearly, and still, too many of you sat on your hands while Trump took office and started carrying out his plans. This inaction is complicity. Every day that Congress fails to take a stand, Trump grows bolder in his attacks on democracy, rule of law, and basic human rights. If you’re not actively fighting back, then you are enabling him. History will not be kind to those who remained silent. Stop pretending this is normal. Stop pretending you didn’t see this coming. The time for half-measures is over. If you actually care about protecting democracy, preventing authoritarian rule, and stopping the destruction of this country, then you must: 1 - Publicly denounce Trump’s actions and call them what they are—an attack on the Constitution and the American people. 2 - Use every tool available to block his policies, halt his agenda, and hold him accountable. 3 - Stop cowering in the face of right-wing billionaires and political extremists—they do not care about democracy, and they will not stop until they have complete control. This is not a drill. Trump is not going to stop himself. The burden is on you to act now before it’s too late. If you refuse, then you are choosing to be complicit in the destruction of our democracy. We see what’s happening. We remember who fights back and who doesn’t. And we will not forget when it’s time to vote.
