Oppose HHS Workforce and Program Cuts
To: Sen. Johnson
From: A constituent in Madison, WI
April 3
I am writing as a concerned constituent to urge you to oppose the proposed cuts to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) workforce and programs, as outlined by Senator Kennedy. These reductions would have far-reaching consequences for the health and well-being of countless Americans, including those in our state.
The HHS plays a critical role in ensuring access to healthcare, supporting medical research, and protecting public health. Cutting its workforce and programs would undermine these essential services at a time when they are needed most. From addressing public health emergencies to supporting vulnerable populations, the HHS is a cornerstone of our nation’s health infrastructure.
I strongly believe that investing in the HHS is an investment in the health and prosperity of our communities. I urge you to stand against these proposed cuts and advocate for the continued support and funding of the HHS.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter. I trust that you will represent the best interests of your constituents by opposing these harmful reductions.
