I’m writing as a deeply concerned constituent, outraged by the ongoing silence and inaction around reports that classified information was shared over the Signal app by individuals closely tied to Donald Trump. If this had involved any Democrat, your outrage would’ve been immediate and relentless. But because it’s “your side,” we get silence. Why? National security should not be a partisan issue. Classified information being passed around through encrypted messaging apps for political advantage is dangerous and wrong—no matter who does it. Your job is not to protect a political figure at the expense of our democracy. Your job is to stand up for truth, transparency, and the rule of law. That means investigating this breach of trust and holding those responsible accountable, regardless of party. It’s time to stop being a puppet for Trump and start showing some backbone. The American people deserve leaders who will act with integrity—even when it’s inconvenient. Do the right thing.
