I'm writing to demand that you withdraw from the case Texas v. Becerra. Section 504 is vital for protecting the constitutional rights of all citizens, including those of us with disabilities. It is a human right to access health care and education; this access should not be restricted to able-bodied people, especially as each person will likely have some amount of disability through their lives. As a community college professor, I know the loss of section 504 would be devastating to my students. I am a lifelong Texan with a PhD from a public TX university; I am also disabled and received invaluable help from ability services on my campus. I am horrified that the American dream I preach to my students will no longer be an option if Section 504 is removed. Please support your constituents' right to access health care and education!
