I’m truly alarmed over the abduction of Mahmoud Khalil. And I'm even more alarmed to hear Secretary Rubio say that he and the Trump Administration intend to deport more green card holders for peacefully protesting. Is the Secretary aware that the U.S. has just been added to the Human Rights watchlist (https://substack.com/redirect/f0fd6b60-dd68-43da-918b-c38d722bac49?j=eyJ1IjoiM2ZodTIwIn0.snHutrZv-ONLGLIDZneBxEuuS5eIjgST9_nSDRGu6ek)? They wrote that “Gross abuses of executive power raise serious concerns over the freedoms of peaceful assembly, expression and association,” This complicit State Department is part of that. Shame on all of you. You took a vow to uphold American democracy and instead you're participating in dismantling it. Stop acting like fascists. Stop deporting peaceful protestors. Fight for democracy or resign. Thanks.
