Tomorrow morning, DOGE and Keith Sonderling are expected to arrive to shut down IMLS-Institute of Museum and Library Services. Libraries are a central feature of our society, and the services they provide through interlibrary loan and Libby are essential--for writers, students, readers of all sorts. This travesty must be stopped. The cost to taxpayers for this service is nominal. The value added for our society is incalculable. Do not allow this unelected, unauthorized group to gut services of such value.
