Human beings have been illegally deported to a prison camp in El Salvador. This is horrifying and is almost certainly in violation of international law. It is a horror and a disgrace. It has happened without due process and because of this, it is only a matter of time before this is also happen to documented immigrants and even someday US citizens; because of the absence of due process and the impossibility of contacting these detainees, anything is possible. We need you to actively fight this, both for the sake of the individuals who may be tortured and die there. But also for the sake of all of us who will be in danger of such treatment in future. This is very serious. Within a few months we may see US citizens who oppose Trump being disappeared to El Salvador in the same way. Please visit. Please demand to speak with the detainees. Please survey the conditions. Please signal to the world that we do not stand by in the face of these atrocities.
