The Trump administration's aggressive actions towards Iran and Greenland risk plunging the world into devastating conflict. Deploying strategic bombers to Diego Garcia and threatening military force against a sovereign nation are deeply concerning steps that risk destabilizing the Middle East, crippling global oil supplies, and undermining democracy efforts in Iran. Threats against Greenland violate their sovereignty. Rather than military adventurism, diplomacy and respect for the rule of law are needed. Armed conflict breeds violence and instability, serving no vital national interest. De-escalation, negotiation and upholding human rights are the path forward, not wars of choice. As a constituent, I urge you to vocally oppose these warmongering policies and uphold our nation's commitment to peace before it's too late.
