I’ve paid into Social Security for almost 40 years. Are you really willing to gut Roosevelt’s plan to help struggling Americans? Are you comfortable threatening millions of Americans’ economic security just so you can hand Elon Musk a tax cut? I live frugally and am a smart investor. Elon Musk is a billionaire who cares not a whit about me, my elderly mother, or the millions of U.S. citizens just like me. Reform doesn’t mean destroying this vital programs for retirees, the disabled, survivors and children. Elon Musk’s “shock and awe” tactics make great fireworks but are threatening our social safety nets. Save Social Security.
