Furthermore, I want to emphasize that advocating for Palestinian liberation is not about “supporting terrorism,” as some Trump officials would like to say, but rather about supporting the end of Israeli apartheid and occupation of the Palestinian Territories. It is about recognizing the fundamental human rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to self-determination, equality, and justice. I urge you to make a public statement: 1. Condemning the detention of Mahmoud Khalil and demanding his immediate release. 2. Affirming the importance of protecting free speech and political expression. 3. Clarifying that advocating for Palestinian liberation is about supporting human rights, justice, and equality for the Palestinian people, and not about supporting terrorism.
