It is time to stop pretending this is just another political movement. The fanaticism surrounding Donald Trump has crossed into outright cult worship, and history has shown us where this path leads. We are watching, in real time, the kind of blind loyalty that enabled Hitler’s rise—a movement built not on policies or governance, but on absolute devotion to a single man, no matter how corrupt, cruel, or unhinged he becomes.
Look at what’s happening:
Trump’s followers believe only him. No court ruling, no criminal conviction, no evidence of corruption can shake their faith. They chant his name in worship, they pledge loyalty not to America, but to him. They justify every sin, every lie, every act of cruelty because they have convinced themselves he is their savior—either politically or literally. This is the same dangerous idolatry that history has warned us about.
The fact that self-proclaimed Christians are embracing this cult of personality should be a red flag for every leader in this country. If they truly followed Christ, they would not be worshiping a man who preaches greed, cruelty, and vengeance. The Bible warns against false prophets—leaders who deceive the masses, promise salvation through power, and turn people away from truth. Trump fits that description perfectly—and he’s selling Bibles with his name on them.
We are not dealing with a normal political problem—we are dealing with mass radicalization. Congress needs to stop underestimating this and start acting. I demand that you:
- Publicly call this movement what it is: a cult. Stop pretending Trump’s followers can be reasoned with through facts alone.
- Take immediate action to combat disinformation—push legislation to hold social media platforms accountable for the far-right propaganda machine.
- Investigate the funding behind this radicalization—find out who is financing this effort to deprogram an entire population into mindless loyalty.
Do everything in your power to slow Trump down. His rise is not inevitable. He is not invincible. But he will continue consolidating power unchecked unless you act now. We are past the point of polite politics. If Congress fails to act, history will remember you as the ones who let this happen.
