The news is reporting that there will not be a formal investigation of the security breaches by the Secretary of Defense and team, over Signal. After the extreme hysteria over Secretary Clinton using an unauthorized device for email it is a hypocritical stance that feels unbelievable to me. It really adds to my feeling that we are living with full corruption and no rule of law or ethics. I call on you to keep pressing for the resignation of this entire team and criminal charges. I call on you to address the egregious partisanship that is tearing our democracy apart. Senator Collins, I especially call on you to lead with integrity and maintain your personal stance about the importance of following security procedures and due unto your own party as you would have done until the Democrats. Senator King, I ask that you stop propping this government up as if they are following basic rules when they are so willing to flaunt them completely, lie to your face, make fun of you for even trying to ask them a question. You simply cannot win with a bully by giving them your lunch money. We really need you to learn to fight for Maine. Representative Pingree, I appreciate your efforts to educate us and keep bridging the news and Maine people as we are clearly all learning very different things and disinformation campaigns are running rampant. In summary, the notion that “different spanks for different ranks” is the governing ethos makes me ill and I really hope does not mean that our appointed leaders can just do whatever they please to whom ever they please and have no accountability to any larger laws or procedures.
