Condemn Trump for posting anti-LGBTQ+ propaganda on Truth Social

To: Rep. Smucker, Sen. Fetterman, Sen. McCormick

From: A verified voter in East Earl, PA

March 13

The use of the pink triangle symbol, once employed by Nazis to target and dehumanize LGBTQ+ individuals in concentration camps, is deeply concerning and hurtful. While the context suggests this was likely unintentional, promoting or trivializing such hateful imagery propagates harm against the LGBTQ+ community. This symbol represents immense suffering and its casual use demonstrates a lack of understanding and sensitivity. As a society, we must reject rhetoric and symbols rooted in oppression and instead foster an environment of inclusion, respect, and human dignity for all. I urge a public apology and commitment to educating oneself on the traumatic history behind this symbol to prevent future instances that marginalize vulnerable communities.
