Disappointed you gave consent after Booker's speech

Earlier today I wrote you to thank you for supporting Senator Booker, and I am still glad to see you do so. However, tonight, not five minutes after he finished speaking, Republicans asked for unanimous consent for another unqualified nominee. Once again, Democrats allowed this to pass with unanimous consent, putting another Trump stooge in place as NATO ambassador. This was extremely deflating to see -- it takes all the momentum being built by Senator Booker's stand and vaporizes it instantly. I wish you had denied unanimous consent -- if for no other reason than the optics. Doing this just proves all the doomsayers saying this was all performative and that you are still the same feckless party you have been. In my last letter, I said I hope this is followed up by other actions -- withholding consent would have been one of those things! I hope you will stop letting these things go by without a fight. If this is not normal, as Sen. Booker said, you cannot continue to act normal. If you cannot fight for these things, all the speeches in the world won't change a thing. So do something, or get out of the way for someone who will.
