Republicans members of the House are at a fork in the road when it comes to being able to claim they are pro- family. Either vote to allow members who are new parents to have a proxy vote during the first 12 weeks post birth (it’s 2025 and we have good tech to allow for this) OR admit that you are only “pro fetus” not pro child or pro family. Old white men need to understand the modern parenting needs of families and adopt policies that reflect this.
