So, a day is not a day? House Republicans can just unilaterally change what constitutes a day if it means they don’t have to go on record as being either opposed to or in favor of the president’s tariffs? So now instead of having a 2-week window in which to vote on whether to end a made-up “National Emergency,” a day somehow equals 2 years? Are you really ok with this bending of reality to force an authoritarian agenda through? How many other loopholes are you going to create in order to hand over all of your power to King Trump? Please spend some time reading the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution again. Our founding fathers would not recognize this current bastardization of the government they created. We the people see what you’re doing.
